Custom Silver Sewing Needle Necklace

A lovely client contacted me to ask if I could make a sewing needle necklace in sterling silver, to wear with her sewing scissors necklace. Clearly her love for stitching required a little extra bling!

We had a chat about needle sizes and necklace lengths, then I hammered, filed, sanded and polished the needle using a piece of solid recycled silver.

And there you have it - the humble sewing needle elevated into a piece of wearable art. It’s a tribute to all the makers, menders, stitchers, and all-around crafty geniuses out there, who know the power of thread and imagination.
