Wedding Ring Commission

Not all wedding rings are made to sit quietly and sparkle. Some are built for action, like this bespoke recycled silver beauty, custom-made for a groom who spends his days working with his hands.

Rather than finishing the ring with my usual mirror polish and fighting against the inevitable scuffs and scrapes, we decided to embrace them. Using a diamond-tipped tool, I added a deliberate scratched texture to the surface. A rugged, interesting finish that looks great from day one, and will only get better with time.

As he works, the texture on the ring will gently soften and evolve, picking up new marks and adding to the story this ring tells. It’s not just a symbol of commitment, it’s a collaboration between craftsmanship and real life.
