Solid Gold Scissors Necklace

Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of creating a custom necklace that’s equal parts playful and pure luxury - a solid 18 carat recycled gold scissors pendant. Yes, they even move!

The scissors have fully articulated blades that open and close with a satisfying little snip—but don’t worry, they’re not sharp enough to give anyone an unexpected fringe trim.

This variation on my sterling silver scissors charm was made to celebrate a lifelong love of cutting, crafting, and creating. Whether you’re a couture queen, a paper-cutting wizard, or just love the symbolism (snipping ties, anyone?), it doesn’t get more extra than scissors in solid gold.

It’s fun, it’s functional(ish), and it’s 100% fabulous. Because why wouldn’t you want a pair of golden scissors hanging around your neck?
