Wax Ring Carving Workshop - 19 November 2026 at William the Fourth

Wax Ring Carving Workshop - 19 November 2026 at William the Fourth
Join us on Thursday 19 November 2026 at William the Fourth Pub in Leyton from 7:00 - 9:30pm for a relaxed, creative evening of wax carving, where you’ll design and carve your very own unique ring.
Make something special for yourself, or the perfect personalised Christmas present for your bestie, partner, sister, mum, or anyone that deserves a piece of handmade jewellery under the tree.
You’ll learn the basics of the ancient art of wax carving and, with a little guidance, transform a simple block of jeweller’s wax into a ring that’s completely your own.
No jewellery-making experience is needed (although participants must be 18 years or over), just bring your ideas and imagination.
Workshop: £35 | Optional silver casting available | Spaces limited
Please read carefully before booking:
The workshop ticket includes a 6mm wide round wax blank, an 8mm wide signet blank, all tools and tuition – everything you need to create your beautiful wax model.
The £35 workshop ticket does not include casting your ring into sterling silver.
If you’re in love with your finished wax ring and would like to have it professionally cast into eco-friendly recycled silver, this is available as an optional add-on for £80–£100, depending on the size and thickness of your design. The silver casting can be paid for at the end of the workshop, so there’s no obligation to decide in advance. You can simply enjoy the evening, see what you create, and decide afterwards whether you’d like to take your design one step further.
Once cast, I’ll then finish, size, and polish your ring by hand in my workshop before posting it to you. The turnaround is approximately 4 weeks, meaning your finished silver ring will be back with you in time for Christmas.
